As a founding member, I set design principles for our products and brand, built and grew the design team and functions, and was part of the executive team that drove the direction of the company’s business which led to acquisition by Castlight Health. During our exploration phases, one of the apps we produced was selected as one of the finalists for 2011 TechCrunch Disrupt Battlefield, a finalist at 2012 SXSW Accelerator and the winner of 2011 DC to VC HIT Startup Showcase.

MyWire

As an integral part of the product management team that works closely with the CEO and the engineering team, I directed and managed MyWire's design efforts in order to translate business objectives and technical requirements into compelling design solutions. With the goal of connecting users to high-quality digital content from various publishers around the world, MyWire's design approach focused on creating an online marketplace for its partners' content and makes it easy to be discovered.

Samsung Electronics Inc. - Samsung Design America

I managed and led a UI design team for one of Samsung's six global design offices. My objective was to establish an experience-centric design practice that would assist Samsung in expanding its capabilities from traditional consumer electronics manufacturer to become the leading producer of integrated consumer electronic solutions. Adobe Systems Inc. (via acquisition of Macromedia Inc.) - XD Group

As a member of the Experience Design group, my work's objective was to identify, design/architect and apply UI patterns in order to advance Macromedia's brand through the experience users have with its products and the experience those products help them create. Products/projects: Flex 2.0, Breeze 5.0 and 601 Townsend's AV Control Panels.
